Workspace and members
Your workspace is managed from the account dashboard at https://app.prophouse.dev. The dashboard has six pages: Overview, Members, API keys, Usage, Billing and Settings.
Create a workspace
Section titled “Create a workspace”After you sign up and verify your email, the dashboard asks you to Name your workspace. Enter a Workspace name and a Slug, then select Create workspace. The slug uses lowercase letters, numbers and dashes, and becomes your library’s address: https://<slug>.prophouse.dev. Some slugs are reserved; if yours is taken or reserved you are asked to pick another.
Each account belongs to exactly one workspace. You either create a workspace or join one by invite, never both.
New workspaces start on the Free plan. The Overview page shows your plan, agent calls and storage used this month, and a Library panel with an Open library button once your library is ready.
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
owner |
Everything an admin can. Only the owner can delete the workspace and access library exports. The workspace creator is the owner. |
admin |
Invite and remove members, change roles, manage billing, and edit workspace settings. Admins are also library admins (they can deprecate or delete props and use the library’s Admin area). |
member |
Use the library with full write access in the web library and the apps: search, pull, push, check out, comment and review. Members see the Members list but cannot invite or change anyone, and have no library admin rights. |
The dashboard describes the roles as member — product use and admin — members & billing.
Invite someone
Section titled “Invite someone”Owners and admins see an Invite someone panel on Members.
-
Open Members.
-
Under Invite someone, enter the person’s Email and choose a Role.
-
Select Send invite. The person receives an email with a link to join.
Above the form, a note tells you what the invite does to your bill on your current plan. On Indie, inviting is free and a seat is billed only in months the person actually uses Prophouse. On Studio, each member is a billed seat once you are past the 3-seat minimum. See Plans and limits.
Invites expire after 7 days. Sending a new invite to the same address cancels the earlier one. Pending invites are listed under Pending invites, where you can Cancel them.
Accept an invite
Section titled “Accept an invite”The invite link opens Join workspace name. If you are signed in, select Accept invite.
If you are not signed in:
- Without an account, select Create an account to accept. Sign up, then open the verification email and select its link. It brings you back to the invite, where you select Accept invite.
- With an account, select Sign in under Already have an account?, then accept.
If you sign in with a new account that has a pending invite and no workspace yet, the Name your workspace page shows You’re invited to workspace name with a Join workspace name button. Join first: an account that already belongs to a workspace cannot accept an invite to another one.
Change a role
Section titled “Change a role”On Members, owners and admins see a role selector next to each member. Pick member or admin and select Set. The owner’s role cannot be changed.
Role changes take effect right away, including for API keys: a key acts with the current role of the person who created it.
Remove a member
Section titled “Remove a member”Select Remove next to the member. The owner cannot be removed.
Removing someone also disables every API key they created, including keys made by device sign-in. Their tools stop working on the next request with an error saying the key’s creator is no longer a member. Issue new keys for any shared automation they had set up.
See who is active
Section titled “See who is active”The Seats table on Members shows each member’s role and whether they were active this month. A member is active in a month once they use the library, the desktop app, the Unreal plugin, or an API key they created. Signing in to the dashboard alone does not count.
Workspace settings
Section titled “Workspace settings”Settings has three areas.
The Identity panel holds the workspace Name and Slug. Owners and admins can edit and Save them.
The Security panel turns on two-factor authentication for your own sign-in. Enter your Current password, select Enable TOTP 2FA, add the code to an authenticator app, and confirm a 6-digit code. Save the backup codes shown on the same page.
The Audit log lists the latest 50 workspace events, such as keys created and revoked, device sign-ins approved, and billing changes.
Delete the workspace
Section titled “Delete the workspace”The owner sees a Danger zone on Settings with Delete workspace. Deleting schedules removal after a 14-day grace period. Prophouse prepares an export of your library first, and emails the owner a link to download it from Settings. After the grace period, the library, its index and its files are destroyed.
