Settings reference

The plugin has two settings pages. Your personal settings are under Edit → Editor Preferences → Plugins → Prophouse, and the gear button in any Prophouse panel opens them. Team-wide settings are under Edit → Project Settings → Plugins → Prophouse (Project).

These settings are stored per user for each project, so they are not shared through version control. The API token is kept in Windows Credential Manager instead of any config file.

The page opens with two sections that are status panels, not settings:

  • Desktop Agent shows whether the Prophouse desktop app is running and which workspace it is signed in to, with Start agent (shown when it is not running) and Install… (opens https://prophouse.dev/download).
  • Account shows the editor’s sign-in state with Sign in with browser and Sign out. See Sign in from the editor.
Category Setting Default Meaning
Server Server URL https://api.prophouse.dev The Prophouse server the editor talks to. Leave it as it is.
Server API Token empty The token the editor signs in with. Sign in with browser fills it for you; you can also paste an API key. Stored in Windows Credential Manager, never in config.
Project Project Key (blank = .uproject name) empty (the .uproject name) The key that imports target to land in this project. Set it when the project’s queued imports use a different name.
Pull Enable background polling on Master switch for periodic checks: queued imports and background previews. The refresh button in the Prophouse panel works either way.
Pull Poll Interval Seconds 60 How often to check for queued imports, from 10 to 3600 seconds. Editable while background polling is on.
Pull Default Destination Root /Game/Prophouse Where the Prophouse Browser, scripts and agent imports place assets, unless a job specifies another root.
Agent imports Accept agent imports off Lets AI agents signed in as you import props into this project without a click, through the Prophouse MCP. See Agent imports.
Previews Auto-generate 3D previews (background) off Processes one waiting preview per interval while you work. Currently texture and audio previews only. See Background previews.
Previews Background preview interval 45 Seconds between background preview exports, from 15 to 3600. Editable while background previews are on.
Previews Bake preview textures (GPU) on Bakes materials into textures so mesh previews appear textured. Turn off for faster, untextured geometry-only previews on machines with weak GPUs or unstable drivers.
Advanced Use legacy direct transfers (deprecated) off Sends push and import files straight to and from the server from inside the editor, without the desktop app. Deprecated; each use logs a warning. See Legacy direct transfers.
Advanced Show crash recovery notifications on Shows a notification after an editor crash explaining the cause and what resumed. Turning it off keeps the Output Log line and the panel status. See Crash recovery.

These settings are saved to Config/DefaultProphouse.ini in your project, so commit that file to share them with the team.

Category Setting Default Meaning
Sync Blacklist Excluded packages and folders empty Package paths (/Game/Licensed/SM_Statue) or folder prefixes (/Game/Licensed) that are never pushed or processed. Anything that hard-depends on an excluded asset is also left out of pushes.

You can also add and remove entries from the Content Browser with Prophouse: Exclude from sync and Prophouse: Include in sync. See Exclude assets from sync.
